We believe it's important to have fun even when you're doing serious work, and we can get a bit passionate about inner-office competition (just ask anyone who's competed for the Infomedia Halloween trophy), so it's natural that we're taking our training for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on October 17 very seriously.
Here at Infomedia, we believe it’s important to support causes we believe in. We also believe it’s important to have fun even when you’re doing serious work, and we can get a bit passionate about inner-office competition (just ask anyone who’s competed for the Infomedia Halloween trophy), so it’s natural that we’re taking our training for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on October 17 very seriously. Want to join us? Click here to donate to our cause in support of Valerie Powell’s mom or to buy an Infomedia breast cancer awareness t-shirt! Until then, let’s get physical — check out a few pics we snapped of Infomedians preparing for the race.
Is this what they mean by doing a chin-up?
At Camp Infomedia, we believe in using all available resources … and sometimes that means using our Infomedia sign as a chin-up bar. What — you don’t do group chin-ups at your office?
Sheldon contemplates the physics of racing
We wanted to know the effects of G-force and entropy on our racing team, so we consulted Dr. Sheldon Cooper … or, okay, we just borrowed Pam’s cardboard cut-out of The Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon and dressed him up in Infomedia race gear. That’s the same difference, right?
No excuses! Everyone has time to train!
Our developers are hard at work coding websites, but just because you’re chained to your desk, that doesn’t mean you can’t pump a little iron! (Or that’s what we told them, anyway.)
Give it all you’ve got … or else!
Is Leslie taking this training thing a little too far? Even if we think so, we’re never gonna tell her … but we might give her the nickname “The Enforcer” behind her back.
Just … one … more … pushup!
Valerie and Mary Katherine, we admire your dedication … but seriously, there’s a car coming. Get out of the parking lot.
We can do it — and so can you!
If it looks like we’re having fun preparing for the Race for the Cure, it’s because we are! We believe it’s important, and we want to put everything we have into supporting it. Click here to find out how you can join the Infomedia team, and we’ll see you at the race on October 17th at 9am!
