Where Are They Now? What’s New with Infomedia Clients

Man jumping onto a rock on top of a mountain

Normally, each month we spotlight one client who has been in the news for various reasons. But as I started looking for a client to feature this month, I noticed tons of our clients are doing great things. It was too hard to pick just one. So this month, we’re changing it up a little and doing a client roundup. Take a look at what some of our fabulous clients are up to.

L.A. Bikini’s Going National

We’ve just started working with L.A. Bikini, and it’s going great — I’ve definitely been to their Patton Creek location a couple of times already to get ready for swimsuit season … completely in service to the client, of course! It’s so easy to visit L.A. Bikini for sugaring or spray tans because they’re completely professional and provide a one-on-one, top-quality experience every single time, so the news that they’re franchising and providing this service in cities outside Birmingham makes perfect sense. Birmingham Fastener Grows Their Business

Since Birmingham is the Steel City, it makes sense that this month’s business roundup includes a bit of news about Birmingham Fastener’s plans to buy part of Vulcan Steel. We’re always glad to see a Birmingham business picking up steam, and we love seeing one of our clients succeed! Read more here: Birmingham Fastener plans to buy part of Vulcan Steel products

GC Wyatt Starts Work on Five Points Hotel

We’ve all been paying lots of attention to new business in downtown Birmingham lately, so it’s nice to see some of that excitement turned toward Five Points South as well — GC Wyatt is starting construction on a new Southside hotel, and I for one am excited to see the architect’s Art Deco vision of the exterior come to life. Maybe the next Gatsby will get inspired in Birmingham! Read more: GC Wyatt set to begin work on $23M Five Points South Hotel project

Everyone’s a Winner! Four Birmingham Businesses Get Startup Funding from Alabama Launchpad

In a stunning twist worthy of Shark Tank or Kitchen Nightmares, Alabama Launchpad’s contest to award worthy startup businesses with funding resulted in each and every entry receiving funding — it’s the first time in the history of the competition that’s happened! Four of the winners are from Birmingham, so I have to say I’m a little proud of our hometown superstars. Read more: Alabama Launchpad awards four Birmingham Startups with funding
