What’s the biggest challenge or opportunity for Infomedia and Uptick right now?
The biggest challenge we’re facing is the economy. Clients are more cautious, and decision timelines are stretching. But one of our strengths is our ability to pivot — and we’re leaning into that more than ever.

Can you share a recent win or standout moment from each company?

  • Uptick: We’re rolling out new consulting offerings, and the team is leading the way in experimenting with ChatGPT and other AI tools.
  • Infomedia: We’ve launched expanded video services that are reshaping how we help clients tell their stories.
  • Both: Launching Tempo — our streamlined website solution — is a major milestone we’re excited about.

Speaking of Tempo, can you tell us a little about why you started it?
Tempo was created to fill a gap in the market.

  • Not every business needs a fully custom site, but they do need something fast, functional and professional.
  • Tempo helps Uptick clients get live quickly so campaigns can begin.
  • Tempo sites roll into Infomedia Support, providing long-term value and client retention.
    It’s a win for everyone — clients, Uptick and Infomedia.

What industry trends should we be watching?
Tracking trends is tricky right now because of the shifting economy. That said:

  • AI is by far the biggest trend. Using it is just step one — we’re focused on how to innovate with it.
  • Video continues to grow in importance, and we’re investing in that space with intention.

What are other business owners paying attention to right now?
The current economic climate and ongoing tariff discussions are creating a lot of uncertainty. Many companies are hesitant to spend. While our businesses are in a stable position, these unknowns are definitely impacting client behavior.

Any favorite local businesses or products right now?
Burning Tree BBQ is a current favorite — especially the brisket tacos.
