
Carrie is VP of Strategic Planning at Infomedia, and that means she has a lot of people, tasks and processes to manage. She’s used several time management methods to help her prioritize and keep track of everything, and one of those she calls “theme days,” which is where you batch a category of work you’re doing for each day.
When Carrie first began using theme days, each day was correlated with a department (like sales, project management, marketing, etc.). Theme days allowed Carrie to easily determine and prioritize the most important tasks for each department, and to more easily schedule meetings with other people.
