Our phones and tablets have some pretty fantastic features to help us go about our business. We know iPhones get a lot of love on Apps lists, so we wanted to set up a list of our favorites for Droid. Behold: These are the Droids you're looking for!
It would be nice if we could all use The Force to get our jobs done and organize our lives, but alas! Lightsabers and wise Jedi Masters are in short supply. Luckily, we have a few tricks of our own to get us through the workday — our phones and tablets have some pretty fantastic features to help us go about our business. We know iPhones get a lot of love on Apps lists, so we wanted to set up a list of our favorites for Droid. So, if you’re stuck for holiday gift ideas, or you’re like Luke and in the market for some new droids (well … Apps), check out our top 5 list.
So sit back, relax, and gear up for what we like to call … These ARE the Droids You’re Looking for!
#5 Crackle
You know, that little droid is going to cause me a lot of trouble.” “…Oh, he excels at that, sir.”
Crackle allows you to watch millions of movies and TV shows for free. It’s bound to get you in more trouble than a Death Star garbage compactor if you’re watching it while on the clock, but after work or during lunch, it’s a great way to catch up on some of your favorite shows and movies.

#4 Nova Launcher
“I see you have constructed a new lightsaber.”
One of the huge benefits of an Android is the overall customization you’re allowed to have. Nova Launcher really helps unlock that full potential of customizing your device, and like the insides of a tauntaun, it allows you to really climb in and move things around to your liking. You’ll be able to customize your App drawer, icons, layouts, gestures, and more with this amazing download.
#3 Waze
“Traveling through hyperspace ain’t like dusting crops, farm boy.”
Whether you’re trying to deliver stolen Death Star plans to the doomed planet of Alderaan, or you just need to get across town to grab a gallon of milk, you should always have a trusty guidance system by your side. That’s where Waze comes in. It’s a handy little App to help you get places. With an easy-to-use interface, helpful tips about upcoming traffic, road work, and wrecks, Waze could be exactly what you need on those daily commutes.
Also, for a limited time, Waze is offering a free download that changes the default voice to that of your favorite unit protocol droid, C-3PO. That’s right! You can enjoy that sweet, sweet golden automaton’s voice telling you to turn left, right, and even exit at 200 yards! Download it here for free!
#2 TeamViewer
“Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.”
TeamViewer is an amazing App that allows you to remotely control your computer from your phone, tablet, or even another computer that has TeamViewer installed on it. If you’ve ever needed or wanted to quickly work from your computer on the go, all you have to do is create an account, install the program, and you’ll be more connected than a Death Star full of Stormtroopers.
#1 Asana
“Now, witness the power of this fully operational battle station.”
Asana makes the top of our list because not only is it a great App in general, but it’s great for being more productive — and who doesn’t like being more productive? So, if you want to be more productive than a second Death Star full of Stormtroopers trying to rebuild it after someone took a pair of proton torpedoes to the thermal exhaust shaft of the first Death Star, then this is the App for you. Asana allows teams to easily manage projects and tasks from beginning to end. Whether it’s just you, or a team of 800 million people trying to rebuild before someone blasts the central core again, Asana has you covered.
