So, what’s a girl to do when you still want the Black Friday deals but don’t want to fight the crowds? You get tech savvy! Did you know you can do all of your Black Friday shopping online, sometimes even earlier than when the stores open? And there are apps and sites that help you do just that. Below is a list of resources to help you save money and get all the deals without ever having to step foot in a store.
I’ll admit it. I love to shop. So, for me Black Friday is super exciting. There is nothing better than getting a good deal (or thinking you got a good deal) on an item you’ve had your eye on. In my younger years, I would stay up until the stores opened at midnight, fight the crowds and wait in long lines just to get that one “special” deal. It was an adrenaline rush and a feeling of accomplishment when it was all over.
But, now that I’m older, I don’t have as much patience and my time is more precious. Not to mention stores are opening earlier and earlier, and some even on Thanksgiving day. That’s where I draw the line. Thanksgiving is about being with my family, not spending it with strangers willing to take me down for the latest and greatest toy.

TheblackFriday.com
This is my go-to site for all of the Black Friday ads prior to the big day. You can find “leaked” ads on this site sometimes as early as October and as new ads are released, they are added to the site. I start comparing prices and making lists of what I need to order. Most ads will tell you when their online sales start. A lot of them start on Thanksgiving morning, well before the store opens.
Black Friday Shopping app
My favorite thing about this app are the wishlists. You can save your favorite deals all in one place, organize your wishlist by store or category and share deals with your friends and family. This comes in handy when you want to give someone subtle hints about what to get you. Hint Hint.
Slickdeals Black Friday 2015 app
Slickdeals is a little different because it is crowdsourced deals and coupons. People like you and I contribute and share them with others.
Retailmenot.com
This is always my last stop before I actually start making my purchases. This site keeps a database of coupons available to use online. You just search for the store you are purchasing from and if there is a coupon available, the coupon code pops up. Its great for free shipping or an extra 5-10% off. Hey, every little bit counts.
There you have it. All of my secrets to getting deals on Black Friday from the comfort of your couch. All it takes is a little bit of organization a few days before and about 10 minutes on your computer and you’re done! Happy shopping!
