Are you off to a slow start getting to know your new Mac? If so, Infomedia and all-around Mac expert Rick Stawarz are here to help. Through a partnership with Stawarz, aka The Mac Instructor, we at Infomedia are excited to offer a series of workshops designed to turn Mac-challenged beginners into Mac-savvy pros!
In our first workshop, “Getting Started on the Mac”, Stawarz will walk participants through the basics of Mac usership, answering common first questions and teaching practical tips and tricks that will empower brand new users with the know-how to master their Mac. This is the first in a series of workshops offered in partnership with The Mac Instructor.
Rick Stawarz, originally from Chicago, comes to Birmingham as a veteran Mac teacher. After instructing hundreds on Mac usership, there is almost no Mac question that Stawarz can’t answer or hasn’t been asked before. Dubbed the title “The Mac Instructor”, he prides himself on helping as many as possible understand how to use their Apple products and get the most out of them.
The first workshop in the series will be held on Tuesday, June 28th, from 10 am until 12 pm. Light refreshments will be provided and if you stay for the afternoon workshop on iPhoto, Infomedia will provide lunch for you. This class is designed for brand new Mac users, and it is recommended (though not required) that each participant brings his or her own MacBook. The cost to attend is $45 per participant and limited seating is available.
