There are so many great events happening around Birmingham that it can be tough to keep up — so we decided to make a Birmingham, Alabama events calendar listing a few of our favorite things going on in and around the Magic City to share with our blog readers and clients. We love promoting the best of Bham, and we hope you enjoy our February 2017 Birmingham calendar.
It can be tough to come up with fresh content for blogs and social media posts, but one way to find ideas is to look at what’s going on in the world — what’s in the news, which holidays are happening, what season we’re in, etc. — and use it as a jumping off point for creating content that’s in line with your company or brand.
Not every holiday and hashtag will be appropriate for your business, but many will worthy of coverage on your blog or from your social media accounts. But how do you keep up with what’s going on in time to create a post about it? At Infomedia, we like to create a content calendar so we can schedule blogs and social posts early and not feel rushed in the moment. This year, we thought it would be fun to share our calendar with our clients and blog readers so everyone can have access to our tools for coming up with content.
