We're Old
(In a Good Way)
Infomedia was founded in 1994, when the Internet was just emerging as a tool accessible to the public. Internet capabilities have grown dramatically since then, and so have we. We have developed more than one thousand websites, and have created custom on-line solutions for clients in a wide range of industries including retail, real estate, construction, professional services and transportation. An Internet pioneer, Infomedia's earliest clients included AOL, CNN/SportsSouth and The Southeastern Conference. Infomedia has been an industry leader in helping businesses integrate Internet resources into their businesses. We put the web to work for our clients every day.

Clay Conner
Senior Account Executive
Now here's a guy who's totally in touch with his inner geek. A confessed technology freak, Clay prefers the title "early adopter" and marvels daily that it took him until 2009 to make the switch to Mac. Fortunately, Clay prefers plain English to Geekspeak--which makes it super easy for him to help clients incorporate the technologies they need to build their businesses. Clay's passionate about helping others and it shows in his work and his community involvement. When he's not working (wait, does that happen?) he's having fun with his wife and two kids, playing basketball or pickin' his banjo.

Bryan Davis
Chief Technology Officer
A programming wizard, Bryan isn't afraid of adventure in our out of the office. He runs Windows on a Macbook Pro (an adventure in itself) and landed in Birmingham via gigs in Grenada, New Zealand, San Francisco and New York. He admits to being an annoying coffee and beer snob, and at the risk of providing too much information reveals that his Ham radio call signal was kc4kyo.

Jamie Parris
Senior Account Executive
Jamie parlayed college degrees in Music and Psychology into a dynamite career in business development and corporate sales. He admits he can't psychoanalyze his way out of a paper bag and he can't carry a tune in a bucket, but he does a heck of a job helping small businesses put the web to work to make them money. His philosophy is that it doesn't matter how pretty or functional a site is unless it also helps grow your business. Web design, programming and marketing all play into his knack for building winning web strategies for small business.

Joy Sandlin
Graphic Artist
Joy has an affinity for the magical and she's been making magic at Infomedia for over seven years now. She's intrigued with discovering what people find visually appealing in the real world and making it come to life for them on the web. Before delving into design, she was a student of horticulture, so naturally she finds a lot of inspiration in nature. Away from the office, you'll find her outside hiking or camping, stargazing, biking, walking in the moonlight, or enjoying most anything outdoors with her kiddos and her dog. Joy's indoor pursuits include baking and yoga and she has a very special place in her heart for music.

David Hickox
Creative Director
David has been doodling at Infomedia for longer than he'll freely admit (hint: people were stockpiling water and canned goods for a certain technological catastrophe). But he's turned out to be Y2KOK and has been our Creative Director for over half that time now. David is self taught at just about everything: graphic arts, web design, front end programming and a whole slew of musical instruments. And it turns out he's pretty good at them. When he's not touring the US (or even Europe) with his band, Broken Letters, we let him work for us.

John Garrett
Chief Strategic Officer
Garrett's road to Birmingham included business gigs in Los Angeles, New York, Tampa Bay and Salt Lake City, and he's done his time with the big guys, including Apple. Home at Infomedia now, he's focused on putting his experience to work for start ups, the little guys with big dreams and small businesses ready for the next step. In his mind, everyone can have all the tools and strategies the big boys enjoy... and should.

Josh Brennard
Head of Production
An atypical nerd, Josh came to Birmingham from Nashville to play college football at Samford. With the alias 'workflow', Josh met with every single client--at least via phone or e-mail--as he managed customer service. Those customer service skills now help him lead Infomedia clients to infinity and beyond. Our Triathlete in Residence, you may spot Josh around town, training for the next triathlon with his charcoal Weimeriener, Benson. He encourages everyone to practice patience while driving, and to think before shoving that cyclist off the road--it just might be him.

Since then, John has shaped Infomedia into a company that translates the wonders of cyberspace into real life web applications that make companies and organizations fast and efficient. He's been known to play drums for various local (and international) artists, plays keys with a certain other Infomedia employee in their band Broken Letters, and even fronts a metal band on occasion. Jerry Brown
Web Strategy
Jerry is not afraid of a good fight. Not with other people mind you, but with your competition. He loves to help our clients get web traffic and high search engine rankings for terms that are usually dominated by big box retailers and Fortune 500 companies. This doesn't happen overnight, but when it happens, it will transform your business. He's a pioneer (he hates that term) of web marketing in Alabama and is scary good in his understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising, analytics, and online user behavior. You definitely want him in your corner.

Evan has been creating and learning on the Internet since AOL had channels, Geocities was the #1 host, and frogger was the best game around. Things have changed a lot since then, but Evan's passion for chasing the cutting edge has not. Evan is an avid photographer, social media nerd, programmer, and finder of useful things. He ensures that all your site's buttons have the proper web 2.0 sheen, and that your site is usable and ready to go. Used to be a skateboarder, now more into guitar, piano and double bass.
